藥學金頭腦．健康沒煩惱～《2018藥學嘉年華》4月1日歡樂登場

The 2018 Pharmacy Carnival organized by the Department of Pharmacy at China Medical University will take place on April 1st at Taichung Park. The event will offer free health check-ups, pharmacist consultations, and popular DIY activities such as handmade lip balm, parent-child obstacle courses, and health education booths. It's an enjoyable and educational event, perfect for a family outing on the weekend!

Now in its 6th year, the Pharmacy Carnival has been held since 2013. The students of the Department of Pharmacy at China Medical University have recognized that health-conscious eating is an important issue for the public. This year, the Pharmacy Carnival will focus on urban public health care, in collaboration with the Department of Cosmetic Science and the Department of Nutrition. The event moves beyond the campus and into the community, aiming to raise awareness about safe medication use, balanced diets, medicinal food therapy, skincare, and other health knowledge, providing comprehensive information on wellness and self-care.

The theme for this year's Pharmacy Carnival is "Pharmacy Brainpower, Health Without Worries; Beautifying Life, Setting New Standards for Health." With enthusiasm for social contribution, pharmacy students will offer free health check-ups and pharmacist consultations. There will also be widely loved DIY crafts, including practical lip balms, sachets, and delicious, cute dumplings, along with a variety of parent-child obstacle course activities that will be fun for all ages. In addition, there will be plenty of exclusive giveaways from major sponsors and beautifully designed souvenirs from the Pharmacy Carnival, with a cute mascot to accompany attendees, ensuring a fun and healthy April Fools' Day experience.

The 2018 Pharmacy Carnival is supported by the Taichung City Pharmacists' Association and the Department of Pharmacy at China Medical University Hospital, with additional resources from major pharmaceutical companies, health food manufacturers, pharmacies, foundations, associations, and cosmetics manufacturers. The event aims to convey its message of health and wellness in a relaxed, joyful atmosphere, inviting citizens to experience and practice a healthy lifestyle.

Before the event, pharmacy students will also perform an energetic flash dance in the bustling Qingmei shopping district, leaving a lasting impression on the public about the 2018 Pharmacy Carnival.
