Summary
China Medical University has a Net-Zero and Carbon Neutrality Action Plan to introduce ISO 50001 energy management on all three campuses within three years. Beigang Campus is the demonstration site and is committed to declaring carbon neutrality in 2027, supported by ISO 14068 adoption in 2026. In 2025, the university completed a third-party verified greenhouse gas inventory of all three campuses, the first in Taiwan to pass the Ministry of Environment’s program verification. It trained 34 carbon management professionals and set up an ESG Verification Center that supports external carbon verification. It also held a Climate Resilience Forum with university, government and industry representatives, co-taught climate courses with Feng Chia University, won the Smart Healthcare Action Award at the Taiwan Climate Action Expo, and ran education programs at 10 community sites.

本校訂有「淨零碳排與碳中和行動方案」，規劃於三年內完成三校區 ISO 50001 能源管理系統的導入,並以北港校區作為示範校區,逐步推動近期減碳進程。本校已承諾北港校區達成碳中和，預計於 2027 年對外宣告。
具體作法與成效
學校自身的減碳與治理
由永續發展辦公室與永續治理與風險管理委員會統籌永續發展方向，環境管理與節能減碳工作則由永續發展辦公室與總務處統籌推動。
2025年規劃北港碳中和計劃以及訂定能源管理目標：於2026年承諾北港校區導入ISO 14068，進行碳中和行動，預計於 2027 年對外宣告碳中和。水湳及北港校區預計於 2026 年導入 ISO 50001，英才校區列為未來一至三年的目標,並配合本校淨零碳排與碳中和行動方案推動。
校本部新落成建物，以取得低碳建築、綠建築及智慧建築認證為目標。
2025 年完成三校區溫室氣體盤查及第三方查驗，為全臺首家通過環境部方案查驗的大學。
培育 34 位碳管理專業人才，並設置完成 ESG 驗證中心，作為師生實作與訓練平台。
與外部的氣候互動
2025 年 12 月 19 日舉辦氣候韌性永續論壇，邀集大學、政府及產業代表共同討論氣候治理，並促成中台灣大學系統(M6)六校永續長座談。
2025 年與逢甲大學合開「氣候韌性」及「氣候調適」課程，修課學生近 230 人，共同提出十組城市氣候解方。
以氣候宣導 Podcast 及社群帳號向公眾溝通,八集節目累計下載 2,297 次。
在社區方面,於 10 處社區據點辦理氣候行動、食藥安全與營養教育活動。
參與第五屆台灣氣候行動博覽會並榮獲「智慧醫療行動力獎」。
中國醫藥大學ESG 驗證中心協助外部業界的碳管理查驗作業。
